This 4 axle RGN lowbed is built for excavators, mining machines and other heavy equipment up to a 100 ton target payload. Detach the gooseneck and the machine drives onto the 3.5 m wide, 900 mm low deck from the front.
The gooseneck separates from the main deck so tracked and wheeled machines drive on from the front, without passing over the rear axle area. The level low deck is 7,700 mm long and 3,500 mm wide at a 900 mm height, and side extensions take the width to 4,000 mm. Four axles at the rear, 1,310 mm apart, give more positions to spread the load. The 100 ton figure is a target: the final rating follows the machine weight, centre of gravity, deck position, kingpin load and the axle limits on your route, and is listed in the quotation.

The neck separates from the main deck to give machines a direct path onto the low platform.
The neck joins the front of the main deck. Separate it to open the deck for front loading.
The level low deck is 7,700 mm long at a 900 mm height, with no pre-camber.
Behind a 700 mm transition, the rear deck rises to 1,250 mm over the axle group.

The main beams, cross-members and deck sections are cut and assembled to the ordered dimensions. The detachable gooseneck, its front connection and operating components are then fitted and aligned with the main deck. The four axles, suspension, brake lines and wiring go on after the frame is complete. Finally the deck surface, paint and ordered fittings are finished, and dimensions, connections, brakes and lights are checked before delivery.
